Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is a recognized university under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. It was established through the Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidyalaya Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008, passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and approved by the Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008. The University is promoted by the Subharti K.K.B. Charitable Trust, Meerut, an organization known for its meaningful contributions to education, healthcare, and social welfare.
The main campus is located in the National Capital Region on National Highway 58, along the Delhi Meerut Haridwar Bypass Road in Meerut. Known as Subhartipuram, the campus spreads across nearly 250 acres and features modern buildings, green open spaces, and a lively academic environment. With a community of over 8,000 students, faculty, and staff, the campus reflects the University’s vision of becoming a center of excellence and pride for the nation.
The University includes several constituent colleges offering higher education across a wide range of disciplines. These include Medical, Dental, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Law, Journalism, Education, Arts, and Science. Through these programs, the University focuses on developing skilled, knowledgeable, and professionally competent graduates.
In addition to regular programs, the University also offers a variety of courses through Distance Education. These programs are approved by the Joint Committee of the UGC, AICTE, and DEC, making quality education accessible to learners beyond the campus.
